Markisflippinsweet
I have an EXS24 instrument named Hawaiian Ukelele, but it doesn't load up. It says it's missing samples. Is this a default instrument, or one I've gotten from somewhere? Mark
fusbur
It's an EXS instrument. Loads ok here.
Markisflippinsweet
Anyone know if it came from a jam pack?
Markisflippinsweet
I checked where the Jam packs are installed (GarageBand app support), and it wasn't there. So, I do not know where the samples for it are located. Can someone tell me where, and possibly send me the sample "Ukelele v3 n60.aif" please? David Nahmani
They are under Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Instrument Library/Sampler/Sampler Files/Hawaiian Ukelele/ You're most likely not missing a single sample but all of them - "60" is only the first sample. Do you have install discs or did you buy from the Mac App Store?
Markisflippinsweet
Mac App Store. I don't even have the folder in there. Do I need to reinstall Logic, or is there a different way to do this? Mark
David Nahmani
Seems like you're not the only one with that kind of issue. I believe you get 90 days of free AppleCare with your purchase. Call Apple and explain your problem.
Markisflippinsweet
I've had it longer than that. I think I'm better off just going to Guitar Center or the Apple Store with an USB drive, and just getting the files from there, and adding it. Agreed? David Nahmani
Agreed, I'd try the Apple Store first!
Markisflippinsweet
I went to both the Apple Store and Guitar Center. Guitar Center didn't have it, nor did the Apple Store either.
