emperor12
So I tried something today that I have not done for years. I wanted to slice up a loop to use in Logic so I used Recycle then saved it as a rex file. Then I just dragged it into Logic. It put all the slides samples on 1 track in a folder. Is there a way of spreading each sample across the keyboard so that I can make patterns from each sample?......Or a similar routine? Thanks again. westremote
Yes. This is a process called "Key Mapping" and you can do it in the EXS-24.
boafzilla
westremote is right. If you select multiple samples in Finder and drag them to the Instrument Editor in an instance of EXS24 it will ask you how it should map the Zones. If you choose Contiguous Zones (zone width 1, start on C1) it will map them like you're asking.

involver
There's no need to use Recycle. You can use transient markers in Logic to do the same thing and then use "convert to sampler" and select "using transient markers" to automatically layout the sliced sample accross the keyboard.
