Logic + 64 bit double precision engine?

I'm reading through the user manual of my Stanton T.92 Turntable and one of the features is 64 bit double precision engine... whatever that means. Does Logic support this?

Also - is there a way to set the capture values for Logic? Like 44 vs. 48 khz or 16 versus 64-bit recording?

Thanks.

Dude, based on this and many of your other posts, I think you soooooo need to read the manual. But I've provided clues to answers to your questions in bold type below.

Logic has sample rate settings. <------ clue!

There is no such thing as 64-bit recording. The highest number of bits per sample currently available for audio recording is 32, though Logic doesn't support this. You'll be absolutely, inarguably fine by recording your turntable at 24 bit. Logic offers an audio preference choice between 16 and 24 bit recording.

Read the manual. It will answer a lot of your questions on such basic recording functions.

You're welcome, and no need to apologize. It's just that there are certain basic things I think you would do well to get familiar with starting with the manual. It's pretty good at explaining the processes and choices involved for audio recording. And if I'm not mistaken, there's a "Getting Started" manual as well which will make the learning curve go a little less steep.
