ojan327
After completing many projects in logic over the years, I have never come across the following issue, which is a subtle static in my mix. It just comes sporadically, and its noticeable to varying degrees on different systems. It is hardly noticeable with my studio monitors, but its there. In my car it's more noticeable. I think it's linked to the bass, which is just "reggae bass" with the stock channel strip settings on it (platinum compressor, LoPass, and Chan EQ) Here's the link.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqV-f-NC-EU&feature=plcp . What I'm describing should be apparent right from the get go... Thank you!
ojan327
Now that I keep listening, I think it's in the vocal now, due to the heavy effects on it. Nevertheless, any help to try and make that sound better would be appreciated. thanks.
Shyscope
I have listened to the track and I do not hear any static. Maybe it is just that my ears are going bad, but I even made an account to say that I can not hear any static.
Eriksimon
Did a quick listen, same findings as Shyscope. And I have superb ears. 8)

triplets
It's a hot mix, so it makes crappy speakers, like the ones on my LED monitor, clip. When I bring the volume down, everything is clear.
