charbunz
When I open my project in Logic Pro, my microphone seems to be picking up all the sounds in my room. For instance I can hear my hands type on the keyboard or a baby sniffle if I did a baby sniffle. I am unsure of the reason for this. When I even go to System Preferences > Sound, and turn built-in microphone all the way down, I can still slightly hear myself. When I eye the "Stereo Out" in Logic Pro (bottom left corner) in the channel strip bar I can see the yellow bars going up and down when I make a sound(s). Please expand my brain before it explodes. Thanks in advance.
charbunz
I might add that I get the error message: the previously selected audio interface is not available the built-in audio inputs and outputs of the computer will be used instead for this session - when I open Logic Pro

Eric Cardenas
It's called a feedback. Use headphones instead or move your speakers so that they are 180° away from your microphone.
Rev. Juda Sleaze
It doesn't sound like charbunz is trying to record, it sounds like software monitoring is outputting their MacBook mic.
Eric Cardenas
It doesn't sound like charbunz is trying to record, it sounds like software monitoring is outputting their MacBook mic. Then it's just a matter of muting the Audio Channel Strip.
