Hey, I'm new at the forum and need some help from you guys. I just bought the akai mpk mini from a friend. I want to use the Apple logic pro software that i bought. I don't know exactly to install the akai mpk mini in logic pro. The manuel for the akai mpk mini does not help me anything and not sure what to search on internet to find the best guide, someone up to help me?

I have managed, so i see when i press a button on the akai mini i see that the note occupied by the logic pro. But i don't hear any sound and nothing is recorded into the logic pro. But when i put a loop in to the akai mpk mini layer, i see the buttons is lightning up on the akai so its playing thats are already played.

Sorry for this bad english and word chooses, hope something is us full to help me out!

Hello and welcome to Logic Pro Help!

You don't need to install the controller in Logic. Connecting the USB cable is all you need to do to have the controller send MIDI data to the computer and Logic.

Have you loaded a software instrument?

Not sure what you mean by this :?

Thanks for you help, i remember now that i was following a old tutorial how to connect it. But it was out of age. I did restart logic pro with a new project and now it works just fine!
