Rossd23
I am wondering... In my mixes I like to place a final limiter on the output fader with dither down to 16 bits. I have a ton of automation on my instrument tracks and fade ins and outs, so I am wondering if this will have any effect on the dither or ruin it. Can I move the fader of the tracks while I have a limiter on the output fader, too?
Razor
Can I just ask, why are you dithering it down in this way? You are obviously not mastering the track separately after the finished mix which is ok if that's what you want to do. I only ask because I wouldn't do it that way myself. I would always work at 24 bit through to the end, and then render the completed wav/audio file down at the end and then convert it?
