somehow it feels like a stupid question, but if nothing changed, then where do I find my library folder- audio folder-components folder ?

For anyone not familiar with ML yet; Apple changed the file structure in a one layer flat no folder in folder structure.

The article you linked to has to do with the folder structure in iCloud NOT on your computer.

There has been changes but those relate to the sandbox requirements of the Mac App Store are not relevant for us Logic users for the moment.

You can just copy your audio units to the /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Component folder but I strongly advice to reinstall your plug-ins instead.

User Library folder is hidden by default in Lion and now in Mountain Lion. As Coil said you can navigate trough the Go menu or you can unhide it for good using the terminal:

chflags nohidden ~/Library

That said it is praxis to put the AU components inside the Main Library under the root of your system disk.

You have Arrange by kind option in Finder(its been there when lion was introduced). click that wheel menu or right click in the windows empty space and choose arrange by name.

The old file structure is still there.

MacHD/Library/Audio/Plugins

If you need user library click on desktop to open finder then press alt(option) key an choose Go in the Finder menu bar at the top and the user library should appear.

Hope this helps in some way.

Regards J
