"Shuffle R" on Flex editing?

Hi!

I have two bass notes which lay next to each other, i want them to swap place without clipping the audio file...

I don't want to clip it because i want to do some flex editing..

I know that you can Use Shuffle R option to switch places on individual audio tracks, but can you do the same within a track, without cutting it?

Thx

Z.

Do you mean "cut" instead of "clip"? Clipping seems irrelevant for your question...

Have you tried cut/paste?

note1note2 > select&cutnote1 => note2 > placecursorafternote2andpaste => note2note1

Oops, that's with cutting...

But seriously, how can you ever change places of one thing? Because that's what you have if you do not cut one thing: one thing.

Had you had two MIDI notes this would have been SOOOO easy... :lol:
