Hayden48
I recently bought Melodyne, a very useful plugin/program developed by the company Celemony. For those of you who havn't heard of/used it before, it can take a waveform and analyse it to display the individual pitches, lengths etc of the performance in a very similar layout to the MIDI piano roll. I was wondering if anyone has figured a way to take the information displayed by Melodyne and convert it to MIDI so that the performance of say, a guitar, can be played through a synth. For those of us that make electronic music but don't play keys particularly well, this would be a huge help. Thanks in advance, Hayden
Eric Cardenas
In the Melodyne plug-in window: Settings > Save as MIDI...
Eriksimon
Very simple, there's a menu item that does just that, it creates a midi file which you then can import onto a Logic track.
