Can't play along without recording? [SOLVED]

Hi there,

I've noticed this off and on a few times, but yesterday it happened again, and I couldn't figure out what was happening.

I was playing along on my guitar with a drum track, the guitar track, running Amplitube 3, was rec enabled, but recording was not engaged. Just noodling around to the drums, and the guitar was going through Amplitube. I changed the buffer size from 256 to 128, and when I re-started, the sound of the guitar through Amplitube would work only if recording was engaged or when Logic was not playing. Otherwise, the Amplitube cut out, and I would only hear the weak, unprocessed guitar through one side. Can anyone explain what is going on, and if I can get this going properly again?

Thanks,

Glenn

Hi Eric, I don't see that option?

I see 'Independent Monitoring Level,' which is off.

Found it. Just a sec....

Yep. Once Again, thank you!!!!!!! :!:

I don't know how this gets selected and unselected. But now I know where to look if this happens again.

Maybe check which keycommand is assigned to input monitoring function(s) in your key commands (cmd-K) list. You may have hit that command without realizing it. Could be ctrl-I.

I suspected that too, after Eric's suggestion, but there doesn't seem to be anything assigned to 'toggle auto input monitoring.'
