_2old4this
I am slowly working my way through the problems I am encountering while trying to learn drum replacement with the EXS24. The Logic user guide and 'drum replacement' videos on youtube don't seem to run into the problems I am having. The current issue is that it is not creating midi notes where transient markers exist on the source/guide track.
_2old4this
The playhead shows where a transient marker is, and no midi note has been made on the EXS24 drum replacement track
Eric Cardenas
Use the Relative Threshold slider. Try a higher value.
_2old4this
This worked great, thankyou. Do you know why this didn't work in the first place?
Eric Cardenas
The transient is to lower than the threshold so Logic skips it. I'm glad it works now! Did you manage to replace the drum with your custom sample too?
_2old4this
Yeah, but Logic has some many good acoustic drum samples I ended up using one of those instead!
Eric Cardenas
Whatever works. Thanks for reporting back.
