Copying Plugins in Logic 9

Hey so when I hit command/alt and try to click and drag plugins in logic 9 it works on some tracks but not on others. On the ones that it doesn't work on a spider looking thing pops up when I try to click and drag the plugins. Does anyone know how to change this or make it work like logic 8 did where it works on every track?

The spider-looking thing (it's more of a robotic snow flake ) means the track is currently frozen. Unfreeze it if you want to add new plug-ins.

If you tap "X" to bring up the mixer, then hold right click and select the hand tool, you should be able to ALT+Drag any plug ins to other tracks.

 

With me however, this

 

A: Wont overwrite an existing E.Q (Just remove the one you want to replace first to solve this)

B: Sometimes messes up settings (Usually side chain destination) in any Logic compressor i use.
