Sebster74
Hello, Ive just tried transferring some stuff onto Logic from my old 4 track, however for some reason, it seems to throw the whole process onto the 8th processor, causing it to overload and distort whilst the others are doing nothing (according theo system performance window). I noticed also that using a friends older Mac Pro the cpu has 4 lines to show what each one is doing where as mine only has one. Is there something that I need to do to split up the processing power? Has anyone else had this problem before? all the best, Seb
triplets
How are you transferring the data?
Sebster74
in this instance, its just playing the 4 track, and taking a stereo output, into a stereo input into the mac. However it also does the same when im just recording an instrument or vocal, and generally mixing various tracks. It seems to send all the load to one processor.
