Getting the highest velocity in the Piano Roll

When i write in midi notes in the piano roll they always come out green..Is there a way i can set it so that when i write the midi in its at the highest velocity - red?Thanks

Use your velocity tool to make the first note you draw the velocity you want. All new notes you create will now have that velocity.

thanks. i knew that though. is there the first note can come out red...does logic purposely make it green for a reason

Do what David explained then delete the notes and Save your project as a template.

the way i usually do this is

 

CTRL+Click on a MIDI region > MIDI > Transform > Fixed Velocity

 

Then choose what you want from there.

 

Im pretty sure you can apply this to as many as you want at the same time,

But to be honest I imagine that would get very tiresome repeating this in a many channeled project.
