Groove templates don't show

I've been watching Doug Zangar's, Music Production Vol 1 from groove 3, and I've been creating audio to midi groove templates. The only problem is, that after clicking use in the groove dialog box, the groove templates do not appear in the quantize menu in the inspector. So I can't use them on other MIDI or audio regions.

 

I did get one groove template to appear by enabling the slice flex mode in the original audio track, but that only worked for this one groove template.

 

Doug Zangar doesn't have this problem , so why do I?

It doesn't show in the inspector, but does it show in the arrange window? Can you see the muted MIDI region it creates?

The muted MIDI region is shown in the arrange area, and the title is shown in the inspector when it is selected. The groove template does not show up in the quantize menu for any audio or MIDI region.
