Logic 9, saving to external drive as default [SOLVED]

Hello,

I have limited space on my Macbook Pro Retina internal drive and would like to set up Logic's project folder on an external thunderbolt drive.

I can't find in logic's preferences any way to direct logic to record on a specific location I would point it to, and would like this behavior to happen by default.

Any help would be appreciated.

I just save the project where I want it. So if I want it on an external thunderbolt drive, I choose File > Save and select the thunderbolt drive as a location, give it a name, and save. Audio files are saved in the project folder, so at the same location as your project.
