alexfsu
So Logic's Tuner, Tune It! plugin, and another producer are telling me my snare is out of key (G#), but spectrum analysis tells me it's ok (A). What do I do here? See pic for details, thanks.
triplets
Looks like that snare has 2 pitches on the low end. G# (what the tuners say) and a peak at 219, slightly flat. I would go with what the ears of people say, not the visuals.

alexfsu
See if this helps: Finding the Exact Frequency of a Piece of Audio When I swipe it doesn't go from zero crossing to zero crossing, and plus the milliseconds time doesn't change See pic. Arrg this seems like it would work!
alexfsu
See if this helps: Finding the Exact Frequency of a Piece of Audio ok so if I swipe the very beginning its so small that no milliseconds are registered. What part of this waveform should I swipe?

triplets
Don't make it so small. Zoom out a bit so you can grab something with a pitch.
alexfsu
Don't make it so small. Zoom out a bit so you can grab something with a pitch. I get a zero crossing of 2ms, so when I do the calculation it gives me a fundamental of 250, which is a B. So it's neither G sharp nor A, but B now? :/
