chewdog
Hi Does anyone know how to get around automation clicks e.g. when you have a low cut filtering on say a lead and then suddenly step it up to let the frequencies jump out it makes a horrible clicky noise from the transition. Obviously i can duplicate the channel to avoid it but surley logic has mastered a way to stop this ? I have tried 'snap automation' but it doesn't work. also i have checked that the automation settings are not off set. Any ideas please ? chewdog
too avoid the click from automation i will have it filtering up to the point i want then on the next region i want it to do the jump on (step up in automation) dupe the channel and make the automation on that channel jump up so you don't hear the click , i want to avoid this thou !! Do you understand what i mean ?
redlogic
That would work for a sudden jump up, but not a sweep.
David Nahmani
If you're automating, you can adjust the automation a bit to create a ramp, and adjust the slope of the ramp until the "click" you're hearing disappears.
chewdog
yeah i have tried that before and it doesnt end up sounding right. Im really annoyed that logic haven't solved this. I have been using it for 10 years now and always had the issue on older platforms
