jonnik Posted September 6, 2012 Share Posted September 6, 2012 Hey I am reading the articles in SOS on synth secrets. I am stuck with chapters on filters. A few questions I cannot naswer are: 1. Why combining 2 same sawtooths with 180 degree phase shift results in cancelling odd numbered harmonics and reinforcing even numbered harmonics? 2. Why when combining two complex signals with a given offset each frequency is phase shifted by a different and not same amount? 3.
