markusmantyk
Hey you I've heard that the basic LP9 includes a vocal mixing plug in, right? What should I use? Is there any autotune function? I've also read that Melodyne or Autotune are far better than Logic's own stuff but what do you think? I guess there are not free of charge. My vocals I wanna record will be for dance and pop music so they autotune, stutter effects and stuff will be needed.
zakkleifeste
Not sure about a vocal mixing plugin but Logic has EQ's, Compressors, and De-essers. Logic's pitch correction is like the "auto" mode in Autotune. There is no graphical editor so if that's what you're after I would go with Melodyne. Stutter effects can be made with some editing. buzwah
Take a look at Izotope's Nectar. It has 11 effects in one Plugin and is mighty useful for vocals. Except Stuttering. It's not cheap but then again any plugin that can do so much is not going to be "free" as you mentioned. http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/nectar/
