Logic pro connection to MOTU Track16 returns "error code -2"

Guys ive been trying to connect my MOTU Track 16 to logic and when i set the audio input and output to Track16 logic just returns Error code -2

And right now the only option i can choose when im making a new track is external midi

 

any thoughts ?

Try reinstalling the MOTU drivers - make sure you download the latest ones from MOTU's website, and make sure they're compatible with your Mac and OS X version.

The Track 16 works very well with my Mac Pro 1,1 (OSX 10.7.4) and i5 MBP (OSX 10.8.1).
