Logic and Focusrite saffire pro40 routing issue [SOLVED]

input-test.thumb.jpg.c6d8a00356a127cf2686d744533394b2.jpgGood morning all!

This is my first post and I'm very excited to see just how far behind the times I am using my trusty duel g5 running tiger, logic7 pro and a new focusritepro 40. Everything is working well with the DAW default setting and logic is routing both inputs and outputs fine. My previous interface was the firepod which did not use any mixing software. i need to route any and all Logic audio channels to output 3/4 which goes to my kaoss pad for processing and return it to Logic inputs 7/8 on a armed recording track back into Logic(which then routes back to the main outputs 1/2. I was using this configuration with the firepod with no problems. I have attached the my current setup attempt and can't get the input back into inputs 7/8 from 3/4 output. I think the problem is this dam mixing software but need some help. If anyone would be so kind as to review it I would be very grateful. Take care and happy Saturday. Jeff

Ok. I've checked the output of 3/4 and no signal is being received in the Korg. I even used the IO plug and connected a hardware efx unit just to be sure and the efx unit does not receive any signal either. So no, I can't get anything other than master outputs 1/2 from Logic. All focusrite setting are defaulted to DAW which is supposed to be used for DAW control over all ins and outs. I'm not using any other MIX functions. I'm stumped.
