LennyDaVinci
I have spent weeks trying to get a new Roland A-500PRO keyboard to either talk to Logic Pro 8.0.2 and especially to activate the control surfaces. Roland's instructions are minimal and despite installing and re-installing their driver and "control surfaces" I cannot even get the MIDI in/out to talk to LP. Anyone out there with an established environment or good lead on how to get this working? I am using OSX 10.5.x.
Eric Cardenas
Hi there Lenny. Please add your Logic version and system info to your signature: Forum Rules - please READ THIS before posting (#5)
fastfourier
Stuff to check: 1. Delete the file /Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.logic.pro.cs (make a backup first) 2. Make sure it's not bypassed: uncheck Logic Pro (dropdown menu)->Preferences->Control Surfaces->Bypass All Control Surfaces 3. Check the port assignments (it's on the last page of the file Readme_E.pdf)
