hungrydave
I need a gong. It's for a computer game soundtrack. Will be a sound effect for laps on the racecourse. If anyone happens to have any great gong channel strips then wonderful, but my question goes beyond this. I listened to a few gongs on you tube sound effects, none were that fantastic, but i figured i could edit. I recorded some via soundflower, but it seems to compress quite dramatically. Has anyone else had this experience with soundflower?
involver
YouTube audio is never going to be great. There may also be copyright issues. I'd take a look at http://www.freesound.org/ or commercial sound libraries like sounddogs.com etc. Here's a list of some more sound libraries: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/8206364-post4.html
