gritzildino
I recently downloaded propellerhead's figure on my iPhone. I found it amazing easy and fast. What I liked most is that they have a built in rhythm and step sequencer for lead and bass sounds. You just dial in the amount of notes you want in the bar and it generates a rhythm... Just great. Now I want to integrate some sort of rhythm/sequencer into my logic productions. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I have reason 4 I believe.. I know that the sounds of that propellerhead figure come from Thor. I have that I believe. And I know reason has a step sequencer, but I don't recall it being as intuitive as the little iPhone app.
David Nahmani
Short of using another standalone software to generate the MIDI data, you could create/use a MIDI sequencer in the Environment. Something such as this: viewtopic.php?p=366798#p366798
gritzildino
Mmm. Yes this seems. A lot less intuitive than Figure. Is there any recommendations for third party stuff?
David Nahmani
I haven't looked at it yet, but one of our moderator (Jordito) recently turned me onto Kirnu: http://www.artovaarala.com/
Person99
I use Five12's Numerolgy rewired to Logic for all my step sequencing needs.
