How can I get a single new software instrument?

I want a sitar software instrument for Logic Pro 8. Is there a website that sells individual plug-ins or software instruments?

If you just want one sound then try looking for multisamples. You can probably find some for free. Just load them up into your exs24 and you got your sitar instrument.

I read that Sculpture has a Sitar sound. How do I access it? Can I not access it with Logic Pro 8?

There are dozens of them, for exs24, for Kontakt.... Soundfonts, DIY stuff... some free, some for bucks. Just do a Google search on "sitar samples" and Bob's yer uncle.

Ok. Thanks. I found a tutorial on how to create the sitar sound with Sculpture. It says: From the Settings menu at the top of the window choose Tutorial > 0000 default to load the neutral Setting that we'll start with to create our sound. However, there is no Settings menu on my Sculpture. ??? Am I just not seeing it? I use Logic Pro 8 on a G4 Powerbook. There is a box that says, "#default", and I can load settings from that window, but it doesn't allow me to choose a "0000" setting.

That's funny: I have that Steve H. Sitar sample, too. Thanks. My window only goes down to Delete Setting, and then stops. I don't have all those other options.

If you have downloaded Logic Pro from the Mac App Store, make sure you choose Logic Pro > Download Additional Content.
