Eric Wikman
someone did quick anime video to one of my songs... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v3CXRzgTLQ Deepswing - "In The Music" Sorry, you can move or delete this if needed. I was just kind of jazzed about it! Eric
stoneface
That's excellent. ^_^ They did a great job, and the track fits great.
David Nahmani
Hey Eric, cool stuff! I wish the sound quality was better obviously, but I love the opening filter and bass.. it reminds me of some of Daft Punk stuff, which I really dig. Really cool little video. Who "sings"? Eric Wikman
Hey Eric, cool stuff! I wish the sound quality was better obviously, but I love the opening filter and bass.. it reminds me of some of Daft Punk stuff, which I really dig. Really cool little video. Who "sings"? thanks David.... That song blew up for us in 2001 across Europe.. mostly Italy... Where I have DJ'd about 50 times in the last 6 years.. due to this song. The label in Italy (Time) and Polydor in Germany then did a full video with us... in Milan... with helicopters and all! I will post the real video later. The filter was GRM tools Bandpass. I still use it a lot. The spoken word guy is Robert Wilson.. local guy. He had another hit with my freind Eddie Amador... called "House Music". Must have sold over a million units all told.... it's a classic now.
David Nahmani
I love GRM tools plug-ins! I used to use them intensively when I was in OS 9.. but they're VST only, right? Do you use them in Logic with a wrapper, or...? If yes, how do they work with the wrapper? Wow sounds like you're busy, great!!
Eric Wikman
Yes, I got the VST wrapper, but I have not used them yet in Logic. Still going thru so much great included stuff! I am about to try to find another filter to buy... one that has the ability to move more than one parameter with one button (like the GRM). I guess it's an X-Y thing. But I have used Halion already...(Wrapped)... it's GUI acts funny, but I close the GUI... open it back up and then it seems ok. A little buggy still, but I'm happy to be able to use it at all within Logic while I get started. Here is a quick video (just of travel/studio WMC footage) I just did in Final Cut... of one of my latest songs. I wrote this with my freind from Brazil.. DJ Meme. This cut is more of a classic- modern Disco Diva sound. And yes, YouTube sound is very squashed! or better quality from my site... http://www.generate-music.com/videos/LiftUpVideoBBHigh.mov
David Nahmani
NICE! I went for the high quality .mov this time. Took a while to load, but worth it! A really nicely crafted track.

Meezy
wow! I've been playing this song in clubs and pubs around Perth for a few years now! Nice to know that you are a fellow Logic user. Can I have an autograph?
fader8
I am about to try to find another filter to buy... one that has the ability to move more than one parameter with one button (like the GRM). Check out Urs Heckman's Filterscape. Nothing quite like it. You can set up an XY control in Logics environment or simply set up a transformer chain that sends multiple cc types to your plugin. Lot's of choices. Love the music. Keep up the good work!
Eric Wikman
Thanks for the support. Where do you spin in Perth? I've Dj'd there about 3 times. I was just in Melbourne & Auckland too. Eric
