steveastanga
I would really appreciate some help with this issue: On occassions I like to process audio in Reason and also Maschine, then import it back into Logic, which is definitely my mainstay DAW. In the last couple of days, I've done that and saved the audio to my desktop (where it sounds just fine) BUT, when I bring it into Logic ('File-Import Audio File'), it's dropped in both pitch and timing. Can anyone please suggest anything I need to reset in Logic, 'cause this is a real annoyance and, although I'm enjoying learning, I'm a long, long way off being as smart as some of you guys. Thanks! David Nahmani
Make sure the sample rate of the audio file and the Logic Project match. Yes ...and to that effect, check the sample rate of your audio files in the Bin, in the Media area on the right of the Arrange area. The project sample rate is found under Settings > Audio. steveastanga
Thanks guys. I brought it in at 48 kHz. Doh! I guess Barry White made the same mistake once, and got a career break out of it. Please mark this as solved and, again, thanks!
