My tracks are totally screwy!!!

My electric piano (audio file, not midi) track is playing into my vocal track; my drum track often doesn't play and when it does it can't be muted but plays really loud through the main stereo output. when I drag audio files into my logic session, sometimes they play and other times they don't. when selecting a bus channel, I now suddenly have a "mono" and "stereo" bus option to choose, which I don't know where it came from, and the bus tracks themselves are getting really screwy as well, can anyone begin to help me???

First, please click on the pink Forum Rules box at the top of this thread and follow the instructions in #5 so we know what your system setup and Logic Versions are.

Go to Preferences > Audio > Devices > Core Audio and make sure Universal Track Mode is enabled.
