ddi Posted October 5, 2012 Share Posted October 5, 2012 cannot play logics synths / 3rd party synths occasionally after the channel working fine, and playing back normally .. all of a sudden the channel doesnt respond to midi in, or play back sound through regions placed on that track ... although the transport bar recognises the midi in data. when a midi region is already allocated to the track, also no play back occurs. the small channel strip bar on the track itself is showing there is a sound, but this doesnt appear on the channel strip itself or in the mixer window !! have tried using caps lock keyboard and still no sound. only way around this is to duplicate track, move regions down, and then delete problem track .. although this works for me, i have now had the problem repeat itself after a few mins of using the newly made track !! Eriksimon Posted October 5, 2012 Share Posted October 5, 2012 Yes, I'm familiar with this issue; my experience is that restarting Logics' coreaudio almost alweays fixes it. Go Logic Pro>Preferences>Audio>Devices>Coreaudio, untick and retick enabled, and dismiss the window. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
