Problem recording/writing MIDI-controller effects [SOLVED]

Hi! I'll start off by saying that I've used logic for about 24 hours. I've managed to connect my Korg Kontrol MIDI-controller to my iMac and assigning some effects to it. I have recorded something with my keyboard, made a loop, and currently tries to create some "On the Run"-like effects (Pink Floyd) - which works out perfectly. I press play, turn the knobs, and the recorded music changes with that turning.

But, if I try to actually record the effects that I'm using by turning the knobs, I see some green stuff in the track (see picture 2).

So basically, my question is - how do I record/apply the MIDI-controller effects onto the recorded track?

Thanks in advance!

That worked, at least partly. I have assigned 7 features to 7 knobs (numerated 1-7), but only number 4 and 5 works (both on latch and touch). And with "works", I mean that they make these squiggly lines which I suppose indicate that they have been recorded.

The effects assigned to the two knobs that do record when I turn them... its sine level and chorus intensity. Whereas for instance Macro cutoff doesn't get recorded, but when I listen to it while I play I can hear it. Why does only some types of effects get recorded, do you know?

_______________

Edit: And by the way, how do I delete the recorded effects without deleting the track/instrument? It asks me "do you want to delete the automation data also", when it's just the automation data I wish to delete.

A macro is a knob that remotely controls several parameters. When you are recording automation and tweak a macro knob, all the parameters it controls are being recorded - but not the macro button itself.

Track > Track Automation > Delete... you can also Shift-drag around nodes in Automation view and press Delete on your keyboard.
