Latency issues with guitar and Apogee Jam [SOLVED]

Hi, I recently bought an apogee Jam interface to use with my Iphone, Ipad and Macbook. With the first two I had no problems (correct signal and pre) using the customized Garage Band app.

But in my Macbook, with Logic, I have experienced some latency while recording (using the Logic effects and guitar pedalboards). I tried with the Low Latency mode and it seems to be working but in the playback you can notice the difference with the tempo.

Do you mean it's out of sync with the other tracks? Latency is a delay between what you play and what you hear, so by definition it can only occur when you're playing the instrument - so during recording or monitoring the inputs with the track record-enabled.

 

If that's what you meant then check your recording delay under Preferences > Audio? It should be set to zero.

Thanks David, I was confused with the concepts and didn't explain it right.

At first I had this latency issue (it was really notorious with the monitor) but I sorted it out.

The thing is, as you say, that the guitar track is out of sync with the others.
