Bouncer
Would be nice to save and open a user preset in the piano roll's transform window and not bother with setting up same thing every time?
David Nahmani
Transform sets are part of a project file. When you save a project file you save all Transform sets you've set up in that project. If you need the same set in another project you can import it using File > Project Settings > Import Project Settings. So save your Transform sets in your templates: any new project started from those template will already have the Transform sets included, and as for any other project, you can import the sets from your template(s) to the project. Bouncer
It's good enough to be able to save the presets in the template..... Although it would be better to be able to save a preset which has been modified as a new preset...... As I figure for now the only way to save a modified set as a new preset is to pull up the initialized preset with everything reset and then redo all the modified settings in there which is a lot more work..... Would be nice for Logic programmers to work on this Transform window and make it more user friendly..... those numbers are hard to manipulate..... it's hard to choose the number slots, and besides, the numbers need to be punched in or moved consecutive order by the up/down keys.... when using the mouse to change them, Logic crashes every time
Bouncer
Forgot to say thanks David.... I did forget that it's possible to make presets in the template and you reminded.... Better be late then never Logic could use some improvements but as it is now it is very good DAW
Bouncer
As I figure for now the only way to save a modified set as a new preset is to pull up the initialized preset with everything reset and then redo all the modified settings in there which is a lot more work..... I want to clarify that it's possible to modify a preset and save it by following these steps: 1. Load a preset 2. Rename it and pressing the enter key and choosing Create (this will create a user's copy) 3. Modify it (don't forget to save the template or the presets will be lost) would be nice to have option to delete unwanted presets, but those unwanted presets can be edited into useful ones
