Different settings on different Ultrabeat tracks? [SOLVED]

I perused the user's manual but couldn't figure this out.

 

Whenever I create a drum pattern using a particular drum kit in Ultrabeat, Logic applies the same drum kit to every track. That is, let's say I want an analog drum kit on one Ultrabeat track and a trance drum kit on another Ultrabeat track. . .how do I prevent Logic from only using just the one setting [e.g. analog] for both tracks????

Weird. I wrote a song with two Ultrabeat tracks and loaded the "Studio Brush Kit" into one instance and the "Studio Tight Kit" into the other one - no problems here.

Sounds like your tracks are assigned to the same channel strip. You need to create a new track assigned to a new channel strip, then instantiate UB again on the new one. To do that, click the "+" button at the top of your track list and create a new software instrument track.
