Okay so i am in need of desparate help. I am new in the Mac world. I have Massive version 1.3 and Logic Pro 8. But when i run Massive as a plugin it says its version 1.1. I dont even have that version. Is it not compatible with Logic 8?

And yes i have Massive in the right place.

Library/Audio/Plugins/Vst AND its in the components file too.

I would get Logic Pro 9 but i dont know if my system needs updated.

Please help :(

The latest version of Massive is actually 1.3.1 so simply run Service Center and update accordingly.

That will bring your Massive standalone and AU plugin up to date

Btw.. VSTs are nothing to do with Logic.. as Logic only uses AU Components...

Well, to be honest I have never run the latest Massive with L8(because by the time I updated I was already running the latest version of L9) but I cannot find any reports of it not working so I have to assume you will be fine... If nothing else you can always delete the updated Massive and go back a few versions if it doesn't work...

If you really want to be safe.. make a clone of your System disk using Super Duper or Carbon Copy Cloner and then if it all falls apart you can restore everything back to the way it is now easily and quickly.

Good luck!
