Logic keeps playing

Hello, I have installed mountain lion and when I press play and also bring up say an eq or plugin. Logic keeps playing for about 30 seconds and I cant do a thing to stop it. I cant press stop or play or select anything on the screen. It just keeps playing.

 

I have a mac pro, logic 9, mountain lion, motu16 (firewire being used)

 

I have tried changing the audio settings to do latency with the plugins, but it does not work.

This sounds like the GUI Lag/Unresponsive issue...

 

See the following thread for more info... However, there is no definitive 'fix' for this problem at this time.
