How do I get a control surface recognised? [SOLVED]

I have a Tascam Fireone interface which can also function as a basic control surface (stop/start/record etc.). Unfortunately the Fireone doesn't appear in the list of supported control surfaces (although it's working fine as an audio interface)

 

Is there any way to "add" a control surface even though Logic doesn't appear to support it?

 

I'll add that I'm a recent convert to Logic so I apologise if I'm missing something obvious!

Brilliant, that works, thank you! I picked up the Fireone unit 2nd hand with no documentation but should have realised that Tascam might have had something!
