Logic 9.1.7 keeps crashing when it opens

Every time I open up logic it initializes fine but then when the project is opens I can't click on anything and then after a few seconds it crashes. I don't have any recently installed third party plugins. I have tried starting a new project but it does the same thing.

It could possibly be corrupt preferences.

 

Try moving your Logic preferences to the desktop (they can be found in User/Library/Preferences) and restarting Logic.

 

By the way, it's worth keeping a good copy of your preferences somewhere else on your hard drive just in case your preferences become corrupt. That way you won't have reset all your key commands and other personalised settings if you are forced to replace corrupt preferences.
