tappz
Ok, So I just purchased Logic Pro 9 last night and I am having issues with it. I tried to use my axiom 49 key to make a hip-hop beat, and i found that the midi keyboard plays two different notes at the same time? The weird thing is, is that it doesn't do it all the time. Also I do not have this issue if i'm using pro tools. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.
Samfranklin
tappz: I had this seeming anomaly when I first started using Logic. I simply unplugged the midi cable that ran from the controller to my interface and left in place the midi cable that ran from my controller to my iMac. The same midi message was being transmitted through the separate cables, which made the performance seem "louder' than expected. That was because there was one note on top of another. Good luck. David Nahmani
Hello tappz, Sam is correct in that you only want ONE MIDI connection: either USB straight from controller to Mac, or MIDI cable from controller to MIDI interface+USB from MIDI interface to Mac.
