Crash trying to create Maschine multi instrument

Hi,

 

I'm using version 8.0.2 on a MacBook running OS 10.6.8. I'm experiencing serious crash issues trying to create a multi instrument in the environment to use Maschine inside of Logic.

 

Once I created a multi instrument object I couldn't even rename the object as the window would disappear if I didn't keep the mouse depressed on the 2nd of the double-click. That, and some other weird behavior (like Logic reporting that it unexpectedly quit even though I quit the application per usual) prompted me to re-install and the naming problem was solved.

 

But, when I tried to connect the object to the channel strip where Maschine was instantiated I would get this message:

 

Unlocking Focus on wrong view (), expected

 

...and CRASH.

 

Any help would be really appreciated.
