vman Posted October 26, 2012 Share Posted October 26, 2012 I have been trying to change the tempo of a recording which I imported from I Tunes, via the media Browser and dragged to a Track. I tried this, using the features in the Global TrackHeader > Alternatives but a change in tempo, although appearing in the Arrange Area, does not affect the tempo of the imported recording. I'm using a Macbook Pro, OS X 10.6.8, 8GB Ram,internal hard drive, Built In audio, Logic Pro O, Ver 9.1.8. Am I attempting the impossible? One thing you could try is to first enable flex for the track (try polyphonic and complex mode) before you option time stretch. This will use a different algorithm for stretching.
