jtees
No worries, however unless you have reason not to, I'd upgrade the OS to 10.6.8 (back up first) then you can upgrade Logic up to 9.1.8 10.6.8 seems to be very stable in my experience. Oh - very good! So I just upgrade my Snow Leopard OS from 10.6.4 to 10.6.8 by downloading it from the Apple site (as you would with the Logic version updates)? CCTMusic
Hi Yes. You could/should make a clone of your existing system in case of problems using Carbon Copy Cloner or a similar utility CCT
Old Mac Donald
Great! Thanks a lot. (Sorry if my last question sounded a bit dumb but I don't have internet access at my studio space so I have to disconnect my Mac & travel to a 'WiFi hotspot' for Software Updates and the like!) jtees
If you go to the apple menu (the apple icon on the top left of your computer) then go to software update it will list all the apple related updates available for your current system. (for other 3rd party apps and plug ins you'll need to hunt around the developer websites to find updates if you wish to update any) Then you just go through an easy checkbox system to install your required/chosen updates
