reflectingme
Hi All Just curious as to where in ones workflow i.e. order of plug-ins, should one insert any pitch correction that needs to be used? I've been recording a young lass who has a lovely sweet voice, but is sometimes off pitch (she's only 10 bless her) and I was wondering when in the workflow should any pitch correction be applied. Before - after EQ / Compression / Reverb (I do reverb on a separate Bus) / Delay etc. Thanks
Eric Cardenas
I would use it first in the chain. You can however "clean" the track first from low end rumbe or other artifacts that may trigger the pitch correction in unwanted ways. You can also duplicate the track and just use pitch correction for the wanted parts, leaving the other ones untouched.

Scott Jackson
Here's a tutorial about processing vocals. In it, they place the pitch correction at the end of the chain.
