robobob Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 Hello all, I have a project that has a lot of automation near the end of the track that I don't want to mess with. I was thinking if I could just push back my project into the negatives I could just fit my new section in before that point I don't want to go beyond. For the end it seems I can go as far as I want. David Nahmani Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 Do NOT move your project start marker. Leave it on 1 1 1 1, always. If you move the start marker away from its original position, Logic will present you with all sorts of unexpected behaviors (a.k.a. bugs). Instead, use your locators (cycle area) to indicate where you want to insert time and how many bars, then choose Edit > Cut/Insert Time > Insert Silence Between Locators.
