gritzildino
Whenever I have loaded logic in the past, if the pointer tool is on the top right end of a region automatically turns into a looping tool, if it is on the bottom right of a region turns into a tool that can edit the length of a region…. It seems as thought that doesn’t want to work for me today… At first I thought this wasn’t working at all.. but I’ve noticed that it will work if you play with it and hover over the region long enough it… What could be the problem? teedoff087
This is a common problem in Mountain Lion. It happens on my machine as well. You just have to be careful that your mouse is in the right place before dragging. So, yeah, it's a bug.

Cobalt
You also know that it depends on how zoomed in/out you are, right? Also, you can access the "loop" feature at any time by pressing option, even if you're too zoomed out to normally see it. At least that's how it is for me!
