logicnewbie1
I had the Apple Loops for Soundtrack Pro installed on an external drive. Recently got a new laptop with larger internal HD and moved the Soundtrack Pro loops to the location with the other Apple Loops: Library/Audio/Apple Loops/Apple. My other loops all show in the loops window. When I try to drag the Soundtrack Pro loops to the window, it prompts for my password, then says "adding" for a few seconds and quits without adding the new loops. I should be able to add these, right? After this, all my other loops (jam packs, etc) disappear until I close Logic and reopen. The "show all" button shows nothing until I restart Logic. I can add individual Soundtrack Pro loops to the window- these show up as "user loops" but I can't add the complete set. Anyone have tips on how to resolve this (hopefully without having to reinstall Logic?) Thanks!
ideaph
I have the exact same issue. I solved it by adding the loops to the Garageband loop browser. Just dragged the whole Apple Loops Fro Soundtrack Pro folder in there. Now they show up in Logic too. Matty
logicnewbie1
Thanks. I found another way- I added the set of Soundtrack Pro loops to MY library folder, rather than the hard drive library.
