Bouncer
Noticed today an EQ artifact doing a surgical cut on a hat sample while using Ableton Live's own EQ 8.... Then I was wondering if Logic's Chan EQ would produce a similar nasty effect.... Sure thing it did... I then opened Fat EQ, tweaked the same setting and it worked clean.... I tried LinPaseEQ and it produced the same artifact as Chan EQ in the high frequencies.... but none in the low end... I also tried boosting frequencies +18dB and Fat EQ produced a better sound then Chan EQ

Rev. Juda Sleaze
Yeah, fat EQ is an often overlooked gem. Too many people presume the legacy plugs won't be as good as the newer ones.
