Not sure how to find out whether or not buying some kind of gain thing would help? or just distort? There a high impedance aren't they? Hmm. Surely when i listen to stuff in my headphones i should be able to recreate the volume that i was just listening to on speakers? Anyone else found this with the AKGs? If i put you off a bit i thought i'd just say i've been them for a bit longer now and whether they've worn in a bit (though they were second hand), i've got used to them or whatever. they're certainly nice headphones and i'm currently happy, do quite long sessions with them on, pretty comfy.
