_2old4this
As I often have to go through the 30 inputs to find what input a mic/preamp might be assigned to, what is a fast way to select/change the input on a channel? I hope there is a faster way than click (hold)-->scroll to input-->scroll to different input-->select input?
Atlas007
If it is something you will have to do on subsequent projects, may be you should consider creating Templates, or import the channelstrips from other existing projects...
_2old4this
Hi Atlas, I do use templates for projects and channel strips. I need to scroll through all 32 inputs when using a new interface setup/preamp etc to find what it is assigned to, which seems to be quite often. teedoff087
Hi Atlas, I do use templates for projects and channel strips. I need to scroll through all 32 inputs when using a new interface setup/preamp etc to find what it is assigned to, which seems to be quite often. You could try temporarily creating new channel strips for all of your inputs, while enabling Input Monitoring on all of those channel strips. Like so: Then you can see which inputs are responding directly on those channel strips in the mixer and/or the arrange window. Once you've figured out which input you are using, just hit Cmd-Z to undo and then re-add the new channel strip with the correct input (or you can manually delete all the extraneous channel strips which will take longer).
